History of GraceNetRadio

GraceNetRadio.com was founded in 2012 by members of the previous GraceFM Radio Network staff and volunteers.

The GraceFM Radio Network was developed by Dolores King-St. George as the General Manager of the network’s flagship station, WAFG-FM, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which was founded by Dr. D. James Kennedy in 1974.  The entire group of radio signals, which was still owned by Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in 2012, was sold to another radio group, and under the leadership of Dolores King-St. George, along with Mike “SchloMan” Schlote, Operations Manager, and several of the GraceFM Radio Network board and staff members, and volunteers, GraceNet Ministries, Inc. was begun. Technical testing began at 12:01AM on July 28th, 2012 for the new internet ministry at the exact moment the main transmitter for GraceFM was shut down at midnight, July 27th, 2012.

The official launch for GraceNetRadio.com was October 1st, 2012, and the studios remain at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, FL, the home of the previous GraceFM Radio Network, and WAFG-FM.
